Member Life Insurance

Increases from $150,000 to $200,000.

Member Accidental Death & Dismemberment

Increases from $200,000 to $300,000.

Special Disability Assistance Benefit

This new benefit provides $500 per month if approved for Long Term Disability.

Member Hospital Stay

Dental Care

Orthodontic benefits are now available for your eligible dependants up to age 21.

Emergency Travel Assistance Benefit

Age limit for active members extended from age 70 to 85.

All new maximums for vision care, paramedical practitioners, and dental are prorated based on your claims usage.

Effective May 1, 2024, members of the Local 27 Shingling and Siding Division will transition from the Comprehensive Plan to the Enhanced Plan and will have the following benefit improvements:

Member Life Insurance

Increases from $100,000 to $200,000.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment

Member Increases from $100,000 to $300,000.

Spouse $50,000; Each dependant child $10,000

Long Term Disability Benefit

Increases from $500 per month to $1,000 per month.

Special Disability Assistance Benefit

This benefit pays $500 per month if approved for Long Term Disability.

Weekly Indemnity (WI) Benefit

Increases from $400 per week for 17 weeks to $500 per week for 26 weeks.

Member Hospital Stay

Vision Care – Laser Eye Surgery

Lifetime maximum increases from $1,500 to $2,000.

Dental Care – Reimbursement

Reimbursement for major dental and orthodontic services increases from 50% to 60%

Dental Care – Orthodontics

Orthodontic Services lifetime maximum increases from $2,000 to $2,500. Maximum age for dependants increases from age 19 to 21.

Dental Care – Annual Combined Maximum

Annual Dental Maximum increases from $2,500 to $3,500 per calendar year.
